Samir (co-founder & head of surf)
Born and raised in the small coastal village of Tamri, Samir grew up watching surfers and travelers arrive in colorful vans. From a young age, he dreamed of meeting people from all over the world and becoming part of their journey. Inspired by the hospitality industry, he decided to train as a waiter.
After completing his training, he gained valuable experience working in several hotels before spending three years managing hostels, where he discovered his passion for creating unforgettable experiences for travelers.
Following his lifelong love for the ocean, Samir became a certified surf instructor. Working by the sea had always been his dream, and today he combines his passion for surfing, hospitality, and Moroccan culture to create memorable experiences for every guest who stays with us.
Carina (co-founder & surf retreat host)
Originally from Germany, she studied to become a Spanish and French teacher. During her studies, she lived in Chile and on the island of La Réunion, where her love for the ocean and different cultures grew even stronger.
It had always been her dream to live by the sea. Before turning 30, she decided to leave her teaching job and Germany behind.
She has always loved bringing people together and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. For many years, her biggest dream was to open a hostel - a place where people from all over the world could meet, share stories, and feel at home.
Today, that dream has become a reality.

Mohssin
Mohssin is Samir's younger brother and was also born and raised in the small village of Tamri.
For the past year, he has been working in the tourism industry, where he has quickly improved his English while meeting people from all over the world.
Like Samir, he grew up by the ocean and has been surfing from a young age. Today, he loves sharing his passion and surf knowledge with our guests.
When he's not in the water, you'll usually find him preparing one of our delicious breakfasts or making everyone laugh. Always friendly, helpful, and full of positive energy, Mohssin is an important part of making our hostel feel like home.
Adil
Adil is from Agadir and spent several years working in hotels in the United Arab Emirates. After gaining valuable experience abroad, he was happy to return to Morocco and become part of our relaxed surf hostel.
He is the heart of the house - always friendly, always ready to help and someone you can always count on.
Whether he's preparing the most delicious homemade dinners, chatting with guests, or making everyone feel welcome, Adil's warm personality makes every stay even more special.
He believes that great food brings people together, and nothing makes him happier than seeing guests enjoy a meal, share stories, and leave the table with a smile.
